These instructions are reported to have worked for the Windows version
of Eudora 6.2, when upgrading existing e-mail services to the new
WDYLLC service.

Note that Eudora 6.2's certificate store (used when validating the
encryption used for e-mail services) does not recognize the Starfield
Technologies, Inc. certificate authority that issued WDY Enterprises,
LLC's certificate. This creates a significant degree of complexity to
these instructions.

Eudora 6.2 also has a limitation which prevents it from being able to
send e-mail on port 587 using STARTTLS encrypted e-mail transmission.
This limitation may result in Eudora users being unable to send
e-mail, if they use a restrictive ISP.

NOTE THAT FOR MANY DIALUP SERVICES AND OTHER CONNECTIVITY PROVIDERS,
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE PORT 587 TO SEND MAIL. THIS MEANS THAT
YOUR ISP CHOICE MAY DIRECTLY AFFECT YOUR ABILITY TO SEND MAIL USING
EUDORA.

In Eudora:

1. Pick the appropriate persona
2. Go to that persona's "Properties", Generic Properties tab.
3. Change the SMTP server to "wdyllc.com",
    checking Authentication Allowed
use relay personality only if required for your specific usage.
4. Set Secure Sockets when Sending to REQUIRED, STARTTLS.
5. Eudora 6.2 does not accept the Starfield Technologies, Inc.
certificate authority that signed the WDYLLC.COM certificate. You
will need to activate this certificate in the Certificate
Information Manager before you'll be able to successfully send
    e-mail from Eudora.
  a. Try to send a message. It will fail. THIS STEP IS NECESSARY.
  b. Go to the persona's "Properties", Generic Properties TAB, and
      click on "Last SSL Info"
  c. Go to Certificate Information Manager. Expand all "Server
Certificates" entries. Use the "add to trusted" button for any
certificates from 'US, Arizona, Scottsdale, "Starfield
Technologies, Inc.". This will create the chain of trust
required for the WDYLLC certificate to work (Eudora 6.2's
      certificate store is dated).

(OPTIONAL ADDITIONAL STEPS FOR INCREASED INDIVIDUAL SECURITY):

5. Go to the persona's "Properties", Incoming Mail tab.
6. Change server to "wdyllc.com"
7. Change Secure Sockets when Receiving to "Required, Alternate Port"
8. "Passwords" style authentication should be used.

Everything else was set to "out of the box" defaults and was successful
for POP3 and IMAP mail retrieval.
